About the Role

Athens Community Career Academy is an academic institution that serves students in the Athens community by providing opportunities for higher education and work experience in a cost and time-efficient manner. This institution offers multiple pathways toward college credit, apprenticeships that lead to job placement, and dual enrollment, depending on each student's desired career field. My team and I met with the program director to learn more about the school's culture and goals for its students. After our first meeting, the biggest thing that stuck out was the desire for this school to be a "stepping stone" toward each student's future. With that sentiment in mind, it felt essential to emphasize the purpose ACCA serves of being a student's "First Step to Success." To maximize the effectiveness of this campaign, I began by refreshing the copy on all informational material for parents, rewriting pathway descriptions for their website to improve readability and spark interest, and creating videos to announce ACCA's new educational pathways.

In the time between taking on ACCA as a client and the end of our work, enrollment in the program increased by 39%.
